Our program is comprehensive, tackling 8 segments of wellness. Through regular face-to-face sessions and partner work we will help your employees stay on track, stay engaged and adopt long lasting healthy habits.

Program includes:

  • Comprehensive wellness assessment for each employee every 6 months

  • Regular face-to-face RECESS breaks with highly qualified trainers. Sessions rotate between flexibility, mobility and self-massage

  • Live-streaming solutions for remote employees

  • Weekly activities to complete with a co-worker or individually related to the month’s health focus

  • Re-focus videos to escape from the day’s stressors

  • Movement videos to encourage 5 minutes of exercise each day at home for beginners and intermediate exercisers

RECESS Physical Activity Breaks

Our physical activity breaks are 10-minute structured sessions delivered by a RECESS trainer. Known as ‘workstation wellness’ in other countries, the method is proven to have high levels of engagement as they are short in duration and programmed in for all employees in each workstation to participate.

Sessions rotate between flexibility, mobility and self-massage which can be performed in any attire, at any age and at all levels of ability. Sessions may be delivered around employee desks or in a spare room or area in the office.

Sessions are capped at a maximum of 20 participants face-to-face with the ability to stream to remote workers. This facilitates increased team bonding, improved individual movement correction and greater connection with the trainer.

Monthly health focus

We believe that improving health requires small, incremental changes. We have designed monthly health focuses with weekly activities for employees to complete. We have built in accountability in two ways:

•Our trainers discuss aspects of the activities during the RECESS breaks

•Employees either team up with another member of their group for accountability or for, more private activities, are encouraged to work with a friend or family member

We encourage activities to be discussed with a team mate for 5-10 minutes after the RECESS physical activity break
